BOOK ARTISTMancunian rising producer and DJ, Cam Stockman, has been on the radar of house fans for some time now. After beginning his career at the age of 20, the last five years have been somewhat of a whirlwind for the 25-year-old. Growing up around a slew of musical genres throughout his life, Stockman has continued to explore various pockets of sound during the experimental years of working on his craft. However, the Mancunian now happily glides from pocket to pocket within the realms of house, electro, and minimal music – and all of which come together seamlessly through a shared inspiration of ‘90s dance.
After biding his time and perfecting his sound over the last half-decade, the musician is making himself known in the house and minimal scene. 2023 saw Cam join BeeYou records for two parties alongside sell out events in Manchester. This year, sees his most recent release coming out on Fuse London’s sister label Locus London. Following on from his debut release in 2023 on Whoyostro which shot straight to number one in the minimal charts followed shortly after by a top 10 first solo EP. Furthermore, for those who want to hear the two-steppers in the flesh, you can head to Cam’s very own party, Suburbia. After the first event sold out during the back end of 2022, its stellar reviews – after hosting everything from local talent to mainstagers – have led to serious demand for more events. 2023 was a killer year for both the artist and party. Artists such as Voigtmann, Laidlaw and Alec Falconer played for Suburbia and Cam has had his music played across the globe stretching from After Caposile in Italy to S.A.S.H in Australia. More heat is expected to come imminently in 2024 for the rising talent.
